Beyond the Tech: Wedgewood Weddings & the S-Docs Product Experience

Written by Admin | Jun 11, 2026 7:04:58 PM

When businesses evaluate document automation solutions, most of the conversation centers around features. But for organizations managing critical workflows inside Salesforce, the experience behind the software matters just as much.

In our recent webinar, Wedgewood Weddings shared how the company evaluated, implemented, and scaled S-Docs document automation to support its growing operations across more than 80 venues nationwide. Alongside S-Docs, Wedgewood discussed the challenges that pushed them to explore a new platform, what stood out during the evaluation process, and the impact after launch.

Why Wedgewood Weddings Started Looking for a New Document Automation Solution

The search for a new platform for Wedgewood Weddings started with growing operational friction—repetitive templates, time-consuming admin work, and inconsistent document generation that slowed down day-to-day processes.

Downtime became another major concern.

For a company where document generation supports sales, planning, tours, and events, unreliable integrations created unnecessary pressure across the business.

With continued nationwide expansion planned, Wedgewood needed a solution that would improve reliability, simplify template management, and better support long-term growth.

What Wedgewood Evaluated Before Choosing a New Platform

As Wedgewood explored new document automation vendors, a few priorities quickly stood out.

First, the platform needed to be fully native to Salesforce. Keeping data on-platform helped address concerns around reliability, security, and integration stability.

Support also played a major role in the decision. In hospitality, business does not stop on Fridays at 5 p.m. Wedgewood needed responsive support seven days a week to help support customer-facing workflows tied directly to events and communication.

Scalability and pricing predictability mattered too. As the company continues entering new markets, Wedgewood wanted a platform that could grow alongside the business without creating unnecessary complexity.

Why the Customer Experience Stood Out

While evaluating vendors at Dreamforce 2024, Wedgewood spoke with several document automation providers. According to Jessica Forbes, the experience with S-Docs felt different from the start.

Instead of relying on generic demos and standard sales conversations, S-Docs focused on understanding Wedgewood’s existing workflows, operational challenges, and support requirements first.

Customized demos, tailored proposals, and clear communication throughout the process.

That level of responsiveness became a major differentiator during the evaluation process.

As Forbes explained during the webinar:

“We really felt heard by the S-Docs team.”

Inside the Implementation Process

After selecting S-Docs, Wedgewood moved quickly through implementation with a targeted go-live date only a few months away. The onboarding process included in-person workshops, collaborative template sessions, and hands-on admin training.

Instead of handing over documentation and walking away, S-Docs worked directly alongside Wedgewood’s admins throughout the rollout.

Despite the accelerated implementation schedule, the rollout remained smooth from start to finish.

The Results After Going Live

The impact after launch was immediate. Since going live, Wedgewood has experienced zero system downtime while generating a massive volume of documents across its operations.

In the first week alone, Wedgewood generated more than 21,000 documents using S-Docs.

S-Docs also significantly consolidated template management, reducing the company’s total number of templates from 54 to 28. Fewer templates. Less admin overhead. Easier long-term maintenance.

What Businesses Should Take Away From Wedgewood’s Experience

The webinar makes one thing clear: software alone does not guarantee a successful rollout.

For Wedgewood Weddings, the difference came from reliable support, collaborative onboarding, and a platform built to scale alongside the business.

Technology opens the door. A long-term partnership is what ultimately determines success.
