S-Docs Unveils Next-Level Experience To Redefine Operational Efficiency

By Press Release No Comments

S-Docs demonstrates continued commitment to transforming document workflow efficiency with three major innovations

NEW YORK, September 12, 2023--(BUSINESS WIRE)--S-Docs, a market leader in document automation and e-signature, today announced three major upgrades to its flagship document automation solution. Set to be released in separate installments, these updates include a consolidated document creation workflow, a best-in-class template editor experience, and an AI-driven document assistant.

“S-Docs is innovating to redefine productivity for our customers,” said Brian Stimpfl, Chief Executive Officer at S-Docs. “This new product evolution will dramatically streamline our users' workflows to maximize operational efficiency and elevate the customer experience.”

The first update marks the largest customer experience overhaul in S-Docs history. Anticipated for release this month, this feature empowers users to generate, view, and distribute documents from their existing work interface. “What used to require multiple steps is now one fluid operation,” said Anand Narasimhan, Chief Technology Officer at S-Docs. “This transformation will mark a major shift in our customers’ approach to document automation and reinforces our dedication to seamless customer experiences.”

In addition, S-Docs is launching an entirely new template editor in early 2024. This redesigned, intuitive interface will streamline and democratize template creation across all levels and roles within an organization. “Our aim is to simplify the document lifecycle from start to finish,” stated Anand Narasimhan. “The new editor will allow any user to construct dynamic documents that are always connected to the people, processes, and data that go into them.”

Finally, S-Docs is introducing generative AI to its products in 2024. This innovation will enable customers with a document copilot, providing dynamic content generation and document analysis capabilities. “By integrating AI, we’re enabling both end users and administrators to achieve in seconds what used to take hours,” Anand Narasimhan explained. “With integrity at the heart of S-Docs’ core values, we’re developing our AI solutions within a zero-trust security framework to put data privacy first as we pave the way for a new era in document automation.”

“These updates represent a significant milestone in S-Docs’ vision to revolutionize the way organizations create, manage, and share information,” said Brian Stimpfl.

As businesses look to stay ahead in a rapidly changing landscape, S-Docs’ product enhancements are poised to set new benchmarks for operational efficiency.

S-Docs 2021 Year In Review

By Press Release No Comments

Wednesday, January 5, 2022

2021 was big - not just for S-Docs, but for the league of innovators and process optimizers driving more intuitive and secure document workflows for their teams.

Our incredible customers created some seriously cool automations in 2021, saving countless hours across the board.

In the meantime, our team was busy growing, innovating, and spreading the word about the S-Docs 100% native advantage. Let’s take a look at last year’s accomplishments as we hit the ground running in 2022.

Lightning-Fast Growth

One thing is clear: we love knocking goals out of the park. S-Docs saw record-breaking growth every quarter, earning 2021 the title Most Successful Year to Date.

This achievement wouldn’t be possible without investing in our trusted team. The marketing, sales, customer support, product development, and professional services departments were expanded in 2021 as part of our commitment to best-in-class customer experience.

Welcoming New Customers

As our team scaled up, so did our customer base. We introduced hundreds of new businesses to the many advantages that come with 100% native document generation and e-signature. Some recognizable new S-Docs users include AT&T, Kellogg's, Warner Music Group, and human resources software and services company Automatic Data Processing.

We can’t wait to continue helping more companies amplify their business success by reshaping the way they work in 2022.

Improving Your Experience

Our amazing customers make it possible to do what we do, and improving their experience is always a top priority at S-Docs.

As part of this commitment, we revamped our online help documentation into a brand new knowledge base this year. It’s now easier than ever to access technical resources like articles and videos that help everyone get the most out of S-Docs and S-Sign.

We’re also continually optimizing our products to ensure implementing and using them is smooth as silk. And our customers have spoken: S-Docs is consistently rated as the easiest Salesforce document generator to implement and gain value from on software review site G2.

Innovating, Innovating, Innovating

Speaking of product improvements: our development team spent the year listening to our customers and introducing new features to meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

Among the many slick upgrades for S-Docs and S-Sign are notable ones like:

  • New navigation hub: The S-Docs Setup page is your one-stop shop for all S-Docs administrative needs in Salesforce, from setting up integrations to translating the UI
  • SharePoint Integration: You can now upload documents directly to Microsoft SharePoint from Salesforce without missing a beat
  • Personalize S-Sign: You can now create custom, branded emails for e-signature request reminders, expiration notifications, and void notifications

These are just a few of the many enhancements we introduced in 2021. Check out our release notes for a detailed overview of all features added last year - and check back regularly for new great stuff to come!

Strengthening Our Commitment To Trust

As a 100% native Salesforce app, security and transparency have always been at the heart of  everything we do.

In 2021, S-Docs achieved FedRAMP Moderate and Department of Defense IL-4 compliance. These certifications are a testament to our ongoing commitment to trust. They also enable us to continue helping government organizations and other security-conscious businesses modernize their workflows with first class data security.

Getting Involved & Giving Back

As the world continued to navigate the pandemic, 2021 wasn’t the biggest year for in-person events. But that didn’t stop us from participating in webinars, lunch-and-learns, and virtual events to continue spreading the word about the S-Docs advantage.

As a proud member of the Pledge 1% program, we also continued matching employee donations to nonprofit organizations around the world, as well as organized a toy drive to help families in need for the holidays. We’re looking forward to keeping our helping hands moving in 2022.

Let’s Make 2022 Even Better

As we begin another year, we’d like to extend one final thank you to all of our wonderful customers, partners, and other trailblazers making great things happen with S-Docs and S-Sign.

It’s been amazing seeing the unique ways our innovative user base has leveraged document automation and e-signature in Salesforce to transform workflows for their teams and customers. To everyone using S-Docs: thank you! We couldn’t do what we do without you.

S-Docs Achieves FedRAMP Moderate and DoD IL-4 Compliance

S-Docs, Inc. demonstrates continued commitment to best-in-class data security with completion of independent cybersecurity assessment

New York City, NY, April 15th, 2021 /PRNewswire/-- S-Docs, the only 100% native Salesforce document generation and e-signature app, today announced the successful completion of a product evaluation against security controls defined by the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) and the United States Department of Defense. Conducted by Third-Party Assessment Organization (3PAO) Coalfire Systems, Inc., it attests to S-Docs’s compliance with the FedRAMP Moderate Level and the Department of Defense Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (DoD CC SRG) at Impact Level 4 (IL-4).

“Security and transparency are at the heart of everything we do at S-Docs. Our solution is built entirely within the Salesforce Lightning Platform, meaning that our customers’ data never leaves the Salesforce cloud. Our successful completion of the product evaluation is a testament to S-Docs’s ongoing commitment to streamlining document workflows while employing first-class data security,” said Dan Pejanovic, CEO of S-Docs.

S-Docs’s native architecture enables it to work seamlessly with Salesforce Government Cloud, and it is currently the leading document workflow solution for government organizations including the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. FedRAMP Moderate Level and DoD IL-4 alignment now qualify S-Docs to expand its product offerings to a wider array of public sector organizations across the United States.

“Since S-Docs is built and hosted on the Salesforce platform, most FedRAMP controls applicable to S-Docs are inherited from the Salesforce platform. Coalfire evaluated S-Docs on 46 additional requirements in control families including system integrity, incident response, and personnel security. We are pleased to report that S-Docs meets all of the requirements defined by the FedRAMP Moderate Level and the Department of Defense CC SRG Impact Level 4,” said Nick Peters, Senior Manager of FedRAMP & Assurance Services at Coalfire.

With these new certifications, S-Docs is equipped to continue helping government agencies around the globe securely automate their document creation and e-signature processes. Dan Pejanovic elaborated “Although the controls are designed to assist government agencies, the security implications put us in a great position to continue partnering with organizations in other industries that value data security just as highly, such as healthcare and financial services.”

S-Docs Concludes Record Year in 2020

By Press Release No Comments

Thursday, December 31, 2020

At the risk of using the most cliché word of the year, we’ll say it: 2020 was unprecedented. Change was on everyone’s docket on January 1st, but nobody foresaw the events that would upend the world in a matter of months.

For S-Docs, the pandemic meant office shutdowns, video calls, and lots of virtual team lunches. Yet despite the challenges of the year, 2020 saw us helping more customers streamline their Salesforce document and e-signature workflows than ever before. The year was packed with new product innovations, UI upgrades, record-breaking growth, and giving back to the community.

As the year draws to a close, we’re reflecting on S-Docs’s leading highlights for 2020. Let’s see how our product’s strength and our team’s resilience enabled us to support our customers through adversity and continue giving back to the amazing Trailblazer community surrounding us.

A Record-Breaking Year (In More Ways Than One)

Above all else, S-Docs is committed to trust, transparency, and first-rate security. Although the pandemic has turned the idea of long-term planning upside down, S-Docs was able to drive growth and support our customers this year through our unwavering commitment to our values. We are thrilled to report that we were able to shatter growth records every quarter, meaning that 2020 is our most successful year to date. This is a testament to our customers’ trust in the security, speed, and ease of use of our 100% native solutions.

As the pandemic has shown, broken records aren’t always a good thing. This year has also seen record high numbers of unemployment, virus cases, and businesses struggling to convert to remote work. That’s why S-Docs has also taken 2020 to ensure that our resources are helping wherever they can.

For one, our document generation and e-signature solutions are built to facilitate working from anywhere. These vital functions have helped our customers maintain “business as usual” throughout the turbulent year. Additionally, our many partners in the healthcare industry have made use of S-Docs for safe contactless document processing.

S-Docs is also committed to the health and safety of every employee. That’s why we implemented a wellness program that ensures the team is equipped with the necessary resources to stay active and maintain optimum health while working from home.

Finally, we’ve also pledged to match employee donations to nonprofit organizations throughout the world in an effort to give back to the community, both during this trying year and in years to come.

Welcoming New Customers and Partners

From continuous product improvement to giving back through the Pledge 1% program, none of our successes in 2020 would have been possible without our incredible customers. We had the opportunity to partner with new organizations in industries across the board this year, and saw massive developments in the government, healthcare, and financial service industries. Our native Salesforce architecture makes us a trusted solution for businesses that value data security highly, since S-Docs never sends data outside of the Salesforce cloud.

As we onboarded new customers, we also saw many existing S-Docs users expand their accounts as the ROI that document automation and e-signature achieved spoke for itself. S-Docs is able to create and e-sign any type of business document you can think of, meaning that multiple departments across an organization can benefit from its abilities.

In addition, we brought on several new partners this year, allowing us to expand our resources and help even more businesses with their Salesforce document and e-signature needs.

Introducing New Product Innovations

As we continue to grow, our products continue to get better and better. Our product teams were hard at work this year on optimizations, improvements, and new functionality aimed at satisfying our customers’ current needs and adapting to their unmet and emerging challenges.

You can read a full list of changes in our quarterly release notes, but here are a few of our favorite updates:

  • Revamped User Interface: We dove into the UI of our template editor and gave it a fresh coat of paint, making it easier to use while preserving the workflows that customers are used to. Take a look at more details in this blog post!
  • Drag & Drop: You can now upload any PDF to the S-Docs template editor and drag & drop merge fields and signature tags onto the document. This adds even more flexibility to the template-building experience.
  • Heightened Security: Security is our top priority at S-Docs. We put our application through rigorous testing to ensure it’s always employing first-rate data security standards on top of its secure native architecture. This has resulted in improved app functionality and continues to differentiate S-Docs as the most secure solution for document generation & e-signature for Salesforce.

These are just a few of the exciting updates from 2020, and we’re not losing steam now. There’s plenty more to come in 2021, including further UI enhancements and lots of great new features, so stay tuned!

Growing Our Team & Getting Involved In The Community

Ensuring the success of our customers is only possible with a strong team of passionate individuals who champion our values. That’s why we expanded nearly every department around the globe with talented individuals committed to perfecting our product offerings and continually improving the customer experience.

Although it wasn’t the year for in-person events, we still found ways to get involved in the Salesforce Trailblazer community. We started the year by collecting the expert advice of Salesforce MVPs and publishing their tips for the community on Salesforce best practices, productivity, and career growth. We also hosted several lunch & learns aimed at educating businesses on how to navigate remote work and get connected to the right solutions to help with business continuity.

As a proud member of the Pledge 1% program, we also sought to help and give back to the community wherever we could. Along with matching employee donations to nonprofit organizations, S-Docs organized a toy drive this holiday season to help families in need. We look forward to continuously doing our part as we move into the new year.

S-Docs Concludes Record Year in 2019

By Press Release No Comments

Friday, January 17, 2020

With 2019 in our rearview mirror, S-Docs has hit the ground running in 2020 and commenced another exciting and innovative year. 2019 isn’t too far behind us, though, and one thing we like to do here is take a look back, reflect on our achievements, and search for areas of improvement. The year was jam-packed with exciting product innovations and record-breaking growth, so let’s view some of the leading highlights from 2019 (and get a sneak peek into where we’re going next) as the new decade begins.

Because of the speed, ease of use, and security of our native Salesforce solutions, S-Docs has continued to gain market share for document generation and e-signature on the Salesforce platform, growing at a rate that nearly doubles each year since its introduction ten years ago. Last year was no exception; over the past twelve months, we’ve helped thousands of companies save time and money by digitizing, automating, and e-signing their documents in Salesforce - and seen record-breaking growth as a result.

Our annual growth in 2019 was accelerated compared to previous years, meaning that S-Docs closed out the year ahead of our yearly trajectory goals. Expectations for 2020 are high, but the team is already prepared to soar beyond our goals this year once again by continuing to provide 5-star service and superior products to our customers.

“S-Docs is the trusted partner to solve the business problems of our customers,” said S-Docs CEO Dan Pejanovic. “Because it’s built entirely on the force.com platform, S-Docs has significantly faster load times, an intuitive look and feel that mirrors Salesforce, and unmatched security, since data used to generate documents with S-Docs never leaves Salesforce.”

Our success in 2019 would not have been possible without our incredible customers, both new and existing. Among the hundreds of new clients that adopted S-Docs in 2019 are the American Red Cross, Intel, Omya, Sciex, Dalkia (a French energy company) and Albert Heijn, the largest Dutch supermarket chain.

As a testament to their trust in the security and reliability of S-Docs, several existing customers made large expansions as they saw the potential for document automation to make a big difference across multiple departments in their organizations. Expansions were made at the Department of Veteran Affairs, Philips, Dexcom, and Estee Lauder, among other major developments with some of Salesforce’s most important customers in the U.S. federal government sector.

As our customer base continues to grow, so does the S-Docs team. In 2019, we expanded nearly every department across the globe, hiring top talent that embodies our values of trust, transparency, and security, so that we can keep innovating faster and providing the best possible experience to our clients. As 2020 unfolds, we’ll be rolling out some exciting new product developments, such as drag-and-drop functionality and sleek new UI updates. Our Dreamforce 2019 Highlights

By Press Release No Comments

Wednesday, December 04, 2019

Now that Dreamforce 2019 is over, there’s only one thing we’re aiming for over the next 343 days: find comfortable shoes for Dreamforce 2020. Seriously, we pushed our shoes to the breaking point during our four days in San Francisco; the Dreamforce Campus was huge!

All joking aside, Salesforce’s biggest conference of the year proved unforgettable once again; the inspiring keynotes, informative breakout sessions, insanely exciting parties, and interactions with fellow Trailblazers in the Salesforce community made this year’s Dreamforce better than all the rest. And we’re not just saying that - here’s a look back at some of our favorite moments from Dreamforce 2019 that prove it gets better and better every year.

Fireside Chat with Tim Cook

After getting settled in San Francisco and making sure every Max the Moose was accounted for, the team headed over to the Moscone Center to begin the Dreamforce festivities. After the inspiring opening keynote, we attended the week’s first fireside chat between Apple CEO Tim Cook and Salesforce Co-CEO Marc Benioff. This talk was one of our favorite Dreamforce events by far, not only because of the great ideas discussed, but because we think they align so well with our own values here at S-Docs.

Tim Cook began his discussion with Benioff by talking about his philosophy on privacy.

“You don’t bolt-on privacy,” said Cook. “You have to design it in.”

Alongside keeping privacy at the forefront of product innovation, Cook talked about the way Apple has maintained success for over 40 years by focusing on their values first, including equality, sustainability, and having a mindset focused on helping others.

These ideas really resonated with the S-Docs team. As a native Salesforce solution built on the Force.com platform, S-Docs has kept our clients’ privacy and data security in mind since day one. Data used to generate documents with S-Docs never leaves the Salesforce cloud, meaning it’s one of the most secure document generation solutions available on the AppExchange.

Cook’s values-based approach is something we adhere to at S-Docs as well. We’re a proud member of the Pledge 1% Movement, and our team regularly volunteers its time to help our local communities. We also participate in sustainability movements like the Commuter Challenge in Ann Arbor, which challenges participants to use greener methods of transportation. And of course, we’re always committed to providing the best solutions to our customers.

Overall, this discussion is well worth watching if you missed it.

The Benefits of a Native Document Generator

It goes without saying that the S-Docs theater session, which detailed how to save time and money with native document generation and e-signature solutions, was another one of our favorite moments of Dreamforce this year. Our software engineers presented on the many benefits of using a native application like S-Docs, including boosted employee productivity, speedier implementation timelines, and reduced expenses.

The session had great attendance and included some laughs alongside the insights that made it a big highlight for everyone involved.

Customer 360

If you were at Dreamforce this year (or even if you weren’t), you probably know about one of the biggest overarching themes: as consumer preferences rapidly change, it’s becoming more and more necessary for brands to obtain a detailed, 360° view of their customers in order to meet their expectations, and there’s no better way to do this than with Salesforce’s cross-cloud Customer 360 Truth platform.

The Customer 360 Truth platform, announced during the opening keynote, allows companies to sync their customer data across all clouds and obtain a single profile for each customer to deliver great cross-channel experiences.

This was an exciting announcement for us because it involves the customer-first mindset that we pride ourselves on. While Customer 360 Truth breaks down data silos and creates an integrated view of the customer, applications like S-Docs work in the background to accomplish the tedious work and eliminate errors, allowing you to spend more time focusing on the customer experience.

Dreamfest

Supporting UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital? Partying with fellow Salesforce enthusiasts?  Fleetwood Mac?! What’s not to love about Dreamfest?

The S-Docs team had a blast at this year’s Dreamforce concert/philanthropy event, and it was made even better by the fact that all the money raised by the event goes to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. As a Pledge1 member, this mix of fun and philanthropy was an inspiring high point of Dreamforce for S-Docs, and a perfect way to unwind after a day of great conversations and informative sessions.

Connecting With Fellow Trailblazers

While Dreamforce was filled to the brim with different breakout sessions, cool swag, fun parties, and delicious food, we think the most invaluable part was the opportunity to meet new people from all over the world who are just as passionate about the values that Dreamforce embodies as we are.

S-Docs had booths in the Campground expo and Trailhead zone, meaning that throughout the entire event, we were constantly syncing up with current customers, meeting new people, and teaching other Salesforce users about the benefits of using a native document generator and e-signature solution. We loved hearing some of the great things our customers are doing with our solutions, as well as the creative ways that other Trailblazers are using Salesforce to better their business and make a difference in their own way.

As this year’s Dreamforce came to a close, everyone walked away inspired by new ideas and ready to innovate our way into a successful 2020.

Connect With Us!

Dreamforce is always a great reminder of the breadth and diversity of the Salesforce community, and we’re always looking forward to the next time everyone gets together.

We’ll be at the Salesforce World Tour in New York this December. Heading that way too? Reach out and let us know - we’d love to chat!

If you were at Dreamforce and didn’t get a chance to stop by the booth, you can always leave us a message or contact us at sales@sdocs.com.
