Solutions Architect

The Solution Architect is responsible for the technical design and delivery of S-Docs solutions across customer onboarding, professional services, and custom implementations. This role is highly customer-facing and requires strong Salesforce technical expertise, sound architectural judgment, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable system designs.

You will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Support, and Engineering to ensure successful customer outcomes, improve delivery processes, and provide feedback that informs product direction as the organization scales.


Key Job Responsibilities

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Lead technical solution design during onboarding and professional services engagements
  • Translate business requirements into scalable S-Docs and Salesforce-based architectures
  • Configure and implement templates, workflows, and integrations using Apex, Flows, LWCs, and related Salesforce technologies
  • Resolve implementation and post-production issues to ensure solution stability and quality
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and architectural standards
 
Customer Enablement & Advisory
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor for customer stakeholders
  • Deliver training and enablement during and after implementation
  • Support POCs, solution demonstrations, and scope definition for Statements of Work
  • Guide customers through go-live, adoption, and optimization phases
Cross-Functional Execution
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Support, and Engineering to ensure alignment and smooth handoffs
  • Provide technical input for sales scoping, feasibility assessments, and effort estimation
  • Surface customer insights and technical gaps to influence product roadmap priorities
Process & Platform Improvement
  • Contribute to improving implementation methodologies and onboarding processes
  • Support the development of internal tools, templates, and delivery documentation
External Engagement
  • Represent S-Docs during customer onsite engagements and industry events, including Dreamforce and Salesforce World Tours

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 3–5+ years in a Solution Architect, Senior Salesforce Administrator, or Technical Consultant role
  • Strong Salesforce platform expertise (data model, automation, Apex, Flows, LWCs, SOQL, security)
  • Experience delivering SaaS implementations or professional services engagements
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures

Preferred Experience

  • API-based integrations and middleware platforms
  • Enterprise data modeling and governance
  • CI/CD and deployment tooling (Git, Copado, Gearset)
  • Multi-cloud or hybrid architectures

Certifications

  • Salesforce Administrator (Required)
  • Sales Cloud Consultant (Required)
  • Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I/II, OmniStudio Developer (Strongly Preferred)

Location of the Role:

Remote working situation in proximity to Ann Arbor, Michigan. A fully remote working situation outside
Ann Arbor will be considered for the right candidate.
