S-Docs is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Sales Team within our Revenue Operations division,
focused on delivering exceptional product demos and technical support throughout the pre-sales process.
This role plays a critical part in elevating the customer experience and aligning internal teams during the
early stages of the customer journey.


The Solutions Engineer will collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services
to ensure a seamless customer transition from first demo to successful implementation. This role requires
both technical fluency and strong communication skills to translate customer needs into tailored, scalable
solutions.


Key Job responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, customized product demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to prospective
    customers that clearly articulate business value
  • Lead discovery and scoping discussions with prospects to learn their business process and use
    cases to evaluate a fit-gap analysis of the S-Docs product for the customer/prospect scenarios
  • Act as the technical point of contact during the sales process, addressing requirements and
    handling objections
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Product Management to design
    scalable, customer-centric solutions
  • Support RFP responses and technical proposal development
  • Contribute to onboarding by supporting a clean handoff and ensuring alignment between pre- and
    post-sale stages
  • Partner with the Product and Engineering teams to relay customer feedback and help prioritize
    features and enhancements
  • Participate in internal product enablement and training initiatives
  • Lead Product Training and enablement sessions for customers/prospects and implementation
    partners
  • Stay current on the S-Docs product roadmap, Salesforce ecosystem changes, competitive
    landscape, and industry best practices
  • Work with Marketing to ensure technical elements of our documentation and LMS highlight the
    benefits of our product


An ideal candidate for this position would have the following skills:


❖ Experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales role in a SaaS
environment
❖ Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills
❖ Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language
❖ Proven ability to build trust with both technical and non-technical audiences
❖ Familiarity with Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
❖ Experience supporting onboarding or implementation is preferred
❖ Working knowledge of Salesforce administration and configuration
❖ Knowledge of advanced Salesforce declarative capabilities such as Flows, OmniScript is a plus

This role is highly customer facing and will require travel to be at conferences, customer
meetings/workshops. Estimated travel up to 25%.


Experience:

  • 6-8+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer
  • 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce (SFDC), ideally in a client-facing technical role

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Masters degree is preferred.

Location of the Role:

Remote working situation in proximity to Ann Arbor, Michigan. A fully remote working situation outside
Ann Arbor will be considered for the right candidate.
